3. We know the Crooked Road and New River Trail flow Galax is the cultural anchor of The Crooked Road music heritage trail, plus the southern terminus of the New River Trail. Year-round music tourism + cyclist tourism in summer + fall foliage all drive periodic spikes in town visitor volume.
